SEFRC conference attendees are invited to attend a pre-conference workshop, sponsored by the Professional Development Committee of SoACE - the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers – the new regional association formed by the recent merger of SACE and SWACE.

In keeping with the theme of the SEFRC conference, "Public Service: Our Students are the Future, The pre-conference will provide participants with interactive learning opportunities to better recruit and prepare students for Careers in Public Service. The program will have three components:

-          Debunking the myths that students have about the Federal Government

-          Case Study activities that allow participants to brainstorm programs to make public service careers more approachable to students

-          Review the various definitions of “Globalization” and what the implications are for the federal government staffing needs

For the low price of $40.00, this workshop will allow recruiters from federal agencies and college/university Career Services professionals to network, gather new information from colleagues, and brainstorm programs to implement.

If you have already registered for the conference, you may go through the SEFRC website and register separately for the pre-conference workshop.

We hope you will join us for this interactive workshop! See you in Fort Lauderdale!
